Suddenly after i arrived in Bangkok i imagined that i am living next door to Mr. Tung.

I was very unhappy that i booked the wrong hostel and told my friends how stupid i am

to do a booking next to KhaoSan, but now i know why ! 

 

And Mr. Tung was the one – i mean THE ONE

 

i want to meet cause tomorrow there i will have my appointment for a tattoo from him.

 

Last year when i have been to his shop he told me to come again maybe next year cause he wants me to absolutely be sure where and what the story is why i want a tattoo from him.

After one year i now came back feeling that it will be the right time. So i went to his shop next door to say hello

and make everything clear for the next day. As i asked him about getting my tattoo tomorrow evening

he said „no not tomorrow we will do it now, thats a good way to arrive in Bangkok“ and he smiled at me with his golden tooth.

„Oh“ i said „i just arrived and need to have a shower and some food“. „Fair enough“ he said then we will meet in 2 hours.

 

2 hours later i went next to his place, his wife sitting there knitting a scarf for a monk in their beloved Buddhist-Wat.

Mr. Tung looked in my eyes lighted a cigarette and said  in his broken english: „So you are here and i will make you happy“.

He asked me about my interests and spirituality and than he said: „Its now time that you get the power of the elements.

And as the elements came not alone they are always a mixture, there is air in fire in water in earth.

The power is the energy of all of them together and that is what you need now mostly.

“ After he looked long at my foot with a pencil in his hand he started to draw some lines to show me

what he want to express for me. What comes out of his hand 🙂
And i was smiling at him saying, „what ever will come out i can see that i will be happy.“

„No pain no gain“ he said with his lovely smile and we started. I was a little bit afraid of the pain cause

around the ancle i knowthat it will hurt. But me and Mr.Tung where very proud cause i didn’t need any break,

 i didn’t scream and was sitting there with-mostly-a smile and after 1 hour it was done.

His calm and peaceful manners the soft shanti tunes and his nice wife made

my tattoo-trip lovely and special. When we where done he did a little ritual at his altar in the small shop

to say thank you for the money and than he gave me a small band around my arm from the Buddhist

monks he is in touch with,for my personal luck.

Mr. Tung is not tattooing what people want from him, is not doing pieces you bring him and not tattooing

things you saw somewhere. He has is own unique style and he always is doing a tattoo free hand style for a person.

At the moment in Bangkok there are hundreds of Tattoo Shops. Mr. Tung is not doing any tattoo conventions,

not doing advertisements and he has his price. He thinks that people who really want to have a tattoo from him and

the energy is right with this person, they will step into his shop and will get out very happy.All the others should go

to a cheap commercial place. And well, he is always fully booked and many Thai-artists and

people from the martial-art scene are happy customers.

A Tattoo is individual and we are individuals in the universe so i feel very very blessed by getting my own absolutely

unique and special design. As Mr. Tung mentioned next time we will go on on it if i want and than i will dance

with the elements, for now it was important to get the mighty power of the elements in Mr.Tung Style.
